Heritage Chart Spotify Playlist

This week the United Kingdom celebrated the 70th year of the official UK chart. We would like to congratulate all the artists concerned that made the grade and have an official UK Chart hit.

We are thrilled to announce there is a new kid on the block. For just over two years legendary broadcaster Mike Read has been developing a brand-new contemporary chart. For those of us over the age of 35 we have an affection for Top Of The Pops, Pans People, all the Radio 1 DJ’s on a Sunday evening between 5-7 will have listened intently to see if our favourite artist have entered the Top 40. We then waited with bated breath for Top Of The Pops on Thursday night.

We only knew the number one artist that would be appearing because the show always featured the number one song. We were excited to see what other artists were featured in the show and who Pans People danced to.

The onset set such as MTV, VH1 and all the other 24 hour music channels finally saw the demise of Top Of The Pops. This left a whole generation of music fans yearning for the return of this iconic show.

The Heritage Chart Show is a contemporary music chart featuring many well known and established artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Terry Jackson, Queen, Richard Marx, Spandau Ballet, Justin Hayward, Mike Batt, Mungo Jerry, Paul Carrack, Lamont Dozier – are just a few of the names in this week’s chart. The chart is revealed between 5pm-7pm on a Sunday evening. At 7pm the new Top Of The Pops show hosted by legendary Mike Read is broadcast on Latest TV, followed throughout the week on affiliates around the world.

We are proud to announce that Latest TV, Mike Read and Rockefellas TV Corona California, have partnered to produce and present the show.

The CEO of Rockefellas TV, Alex Garcia, said “As soon as I heard there was an opportunity to be associated with this chart and its rich tapestry of Music, I jumped at the chance.

We will now be broadcasting this show across the USA and beyond.”
